About BYMUN
The Bilingual Youth Model United Nations (BYMUN) is Singapore’s first and only bilingual Model United Nations. It aims to empower students who have a strong grasp of the two languages by providing a platform for them to showcase their various talents. Similar to previous years, BYMUN 2024 will include the differentiation of councils into beginner and intermediate councils so as to provide a more tailored conference for delegates with varying levels of experience.
Here at BYMUN, delegates are given valuable opportunities to engage with students from all over Singapore, explore new perspectives, exchange meaningful ideas, and enhance one’s awareness of the role as a global citizen through the discussion of pertinent global issues. This year, we are also excited to welcome students from Taiwan Private Nanshan Senior High School. They will be chairing the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) council!
